Omnivore POS integration Overview

ShiftNote uses Omnivore’s Universal API to automatically import sales data from supported POS systems

For select POS systems, ShiftNote leverages Omnivore’s Universal API to bring in your sales data automatically.

This direct integration allows you to view real-time (or near real-time) sales data—no need to manually upload reports or email daily sales files. Once connected, your data flows seamlessly into ShiftNote to support smarter scheduling and labor forecasting.

Note: Omnivore charges a $30 USD/month fee per venue. This will be added to your ShiftNote billing once integration is complete.


POS Systems Supported via Omnivore

We currently support Omnivore-based integrations with:

  • NCR Aloha*

  • PAR Brink

  • Dinerware

  • Oracle Micros (3700, Simphony1, Simphony2)

  • POSitouch

  • Squirrel Systems

  • XPIENT

*For Aloha: Sales data is sent once daily by default, but can be updated more frequently with additional setup and fees through NCR.


Integration Steps

If You’re New to Omnivore

  1. Visit https://connect.omnivore.io/invite/9064596 from your back-of-house POS computer.

  2. Download and install the Omnivore Agent.

  3. Create your Omnivore account.

  4. Select a date/time from Omnivore’s scheduling calendar to complete the setup with both Omnivore and ShiftNote teams.

If You Already Use Omnivore

  1. Log into your Omnivore Control Panel.

  2. Find your Location ID.

  3. Send your Location ID to support@shiftnote.com.

  4. Approve the access request you’ll receive via email from Omnivore.

  5. Our team will handle the final setup steps and notify you when your sales data is flowing into ShiftNote.


After Setup

Once integration is complete, it may take a few hours for your sales data to begin appearing in ShiftNote.

From there, you’ll be able to tie your forecasted sales to scheduling and labor planning with ease.
